Kumhrauri – The Local & Popular Delicacy of Mithila
Kumhraruri is made up of two words: "Kuamhar" and "auri," and it is both nutritious and delicious. These words literally mean "pumpkin" and "balls," respectively. As a result, it is a pumpkin ball, as evidenced by its shape and appearance.
As maithil as it gets - Kumhrauri , as it is called in Maithili, these are badis/ vadis made of ash-gourd and sun-dried, so you then use it all year round for a delicious curry with potatoes, onions, tomatoes, and the usual spices.
